Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and treatment as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions within the unit.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of ethical practice and patient privacy (HIPAA).
