Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive, individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms continuously, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient education regarding disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and patient reports in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or emergency room nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
