Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (compact license holders welcome)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in Med-Surg/ICU/ER
- Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules including nights/holidays
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
