Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical exams and medical history reviews.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established safety protocols and standing orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and promptly report any significant changes or adverse reactions to providers.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and care provided.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless patient flow and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
