Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vitals, EKGs, injections)
- Manage patient records and electronic health systems
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling
- Handle administrative duties including billing and insurance verification
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (training provided)
