Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and incident reports
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing team during shift changes
- Respond to patient call lights and emergencies promptly
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Availability for consistent night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Background check and drug screen clearance
