Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years of acute care experience considered
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required (certifications must be current)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU, ER, or Med-Surg setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with complex patient cases
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
