Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments in emergency department settings to prioritize care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient care plans
- Document clinical observations using EHR systems with 100% accuracy
- Provide critical patient education and discharge instructions
- Manage high-volume triage during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for emergency care protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with immediate availability
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
