Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care and assistance with ADLs
- Accurately document patient vitals and observations in EMR systems
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and medical teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and specialized equipment
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to pass comprehensive background screening
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and weekends
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR)
