Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by observing symptoms, reactions, and treatments.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Record vital signs and patient information accurately in medical records.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to RNs and physicians promptly.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with moving and positioning patients safely using proper techniques.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification is a plus.
