Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to patients
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning
- Support meal services and monitor nutritional intake
- Collaborate with RNs on care plans and patient updates
- Maintain infection control protocols and sterile environments
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification (required)
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in clinical setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)
