Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and daily progress in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician or nurse practitioner.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (or Active LPN/RN license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications (depending on role).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- High school diploma or GED required.
