Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, using proper transfer techniques to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies with a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA license in the State of California.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
