Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to provide high-quality patient care. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in our medical team, ensuring our patients receive the attention and support they need.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide basic patient care as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assistance: Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring bed linens and personal items are sanitary.
- Communication: Communicate patient needs and concerns to nurses and physicians, acting as a vital link in the care team.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain patient charts and records as required by hospital policy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Licensure: Valid state license to practice nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and patient advocacy.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
