Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification in the State of Texas.
- Active Texas Nurse Aide License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is a plus.
