Job Summary
The CNA is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication as prescribed and documented accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following established protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas.
Qualifications
- Current and active Georgia State CNA License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
