Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to reduce anxiety.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
- Report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior to the charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medication as directed and documented.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Georgia CNA Certification (Required).
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
