Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable CNA to provide high-quality patient care during our critical weekend shifts. You will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure our residents/patients receive the best possible support in a comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and walking as needed.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities, including intake and output, accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA license required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient well-being.
