Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning techniques
- Administer basic treatments under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team
- Follow HIPAA and facility protocols strictly
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months CNA experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate attitude with geriatric care focus
- Clear background check and TB test results
