Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suctioning, and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal dental supply inventory
- Delve patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB preferred)
- X-ray certification and proficiency with dental radiography
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental management software
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
