Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide chairside assistance during complex treatments
- Administer local anesthetics and perform infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in NM
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
