Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments (four-handed dentistry)
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization
- Update patient records and maintain digital charts
- Order inventory and manage supply chain
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Radiology certification (DANB/RHS)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Proficient in dental practice management software
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
