Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including crown preps, extractions, and restorations
- Manage digital X-ray systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Implement strict sterilization protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and inventory
- Support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- X-ray certification (DANB/RDH eligible)
- Spanish fluency preferred
