Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform dental radiography and ensure accurate imaging protocols
- Manage sterilization and infection control procedures to OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for optimal efficiency
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain digital dental records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Missouri (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital charting systems required
