Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments/equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and instruments for optimal efficiency
- Delve patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate seamless appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA (Dental Assistant) license in California
- CPR/BLS certification and current X-ray permit
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills and instrument knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient rapport and team collaboration
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
