Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital health records
- Provide chairside support during surgical procedures and emergencies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Coordinate inventory management and sterilization protocols
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or Arizona state)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
