Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with precise technique and patient comfort focus
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for 10+ operatories
- Coordinate patient flow between hygiene and treatment rooms with exceptional efficiency
- Implement recall systems and maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Epic
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for 15+ daily patient procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and emergency care guidance to patients
Qualifications
- Active RDA license or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography (panoramic, bitewing, periapical)
- Expertise in infection control and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instrumentation
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional chairside demeanor for anxious patients
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with 90%+ patient retention
