Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Take and develop diagnostic X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal stock levels of dental supplies
- Provide exceptional patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
