Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorations
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays using digital radiography
- Manage patient flow and ensure sterilization protocols exceed OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient care
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain detailed digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate with insurance providers for seamless billing processes
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or RDAEF certification required
- Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency with practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment without compromising care quality
- Valid California radiography license
