Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration)
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Observe patients and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience as a CNA is preferred but not required for entry-level positions
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Compassionate and patient-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
