Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and health changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Support medical staff with examinations, treatments, and documentation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility policies at all times
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Virginia or ability to obtain immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
