Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer medications under nurse supervision per facility protocols
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining dignity
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments for residents
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly populations
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
