Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain hygiene and dignity.
- Medication Administration: Remind patients to take medications and assist with administration as needed.
- Monitor Health: Observe and report changes in a patient's condition, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Companionship: Spend quality time with patients, engaging in activities to reduce isolation and improve mental health.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
- Transportation: Drive clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social events.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; HHA or CNA certification is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Texas.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable vehicle are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
