Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and preliminary assessments
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and manage front desk operations
- Assist with lab specimens and basic diagnostic tests
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
