Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and ancillary services
Qualifications
- Active California MA certification (CMA/RMA) or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy experience required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or urgent care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings/weekends
- COVID-19 vaccination series completion
