Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and EKG screenings
- Manage electronic health records with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain clean, sterile exam environments
- Assist with front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days/evenings/weekends)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
