Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and medical staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for medical treatments, diagnostic procedures, and examinations.
- Record patient medical history, symptoms, and treatment information.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming inquiries.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to medical ethics and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
