Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in processes efficiently.
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging instruments.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood draws, as trained.
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn new medical procedures and technologies.
- Reliable transportation is required.
