Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient symptoms.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., urine analysis) and prepare specimens.
- Manage patient flow and assist with front desk reception duties as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and ensure a welcoming clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
