Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and prepare them for examinations.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, perform EKGs, and prepare treatment rooms.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient charts, schedule appointments, and handle phone inquiries efficiently.
- Injections & Procedures: Administer injections and assist with minor medical procedures as directed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- License: Nebraska State Medical Assistant License in good standing.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient privacy and comfort.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
