Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens accurately
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments, manage inventory, and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active MA certification or CMA/RMA credential from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient demeanor
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
