Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, vitals checks, and medical histories accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by the provider and assist during the exam.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications/injections as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with strict confidentiality and compliance.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
