Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respiratory Rate, Temperature) and weight measurements.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies; ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as directed by the supervising physician.
- Maintain and update patient medical records in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system accurately and timely.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and empathy.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (3rd shift).
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and Phlebotomy is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
