Responsibilities
- Support physicians during telehealth appointments with real-time documentation and patient preparation
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification via electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist in managing chronic conditions through remote monitoring and follow-up communications
- Prepare and maintain digital patient records ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Facilitate prescription refills and medication reconciliation processes
- Provide administrative support including billing coding and quality reporting
- Participate in virtual team huddles and continuing education programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong computer literacy with ability to learn EHR systems quickly
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
