Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems (EPIC/Electronic Medical Records)
- Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, and EKG screenings
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical instruments
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Support multi-specialty teams across cardiology, dermatology, and internal medicine
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA) or graduate from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Indiana state license (if applicable)
