Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures.
- Accurately record patient vitals, medical history, and insurance information into EMR systems.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage front desk duties including patient check-in, scheduling, and intake processes.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding follow-up care, treatment plans, and instructions.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred, with weekend availability.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR software.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
