Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, patient assessments, and EKG screenings with high accuracy.
- Assist physicians and nurses with procedures and examinations in a clinical setting.
- Maintain and update accurate patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Coordinate patient appointments, manage front-desk duties, and handle patient inquiries professionally.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or MA certification preferred).
- CPR/BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
