Responsibilities
- Assist providers with clinical procedures including injections, wound care, and EKGs
- Perform vital signs, patient intake, and prepare exam rooms efficiently
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Administer medications under provider supervision and maintain inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Kansas state medical assistant license (if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
