Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and virtual patient support
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- Exceptional communication and telehealth aptitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including some evenings
- Valid California driver's license for mobile health services
