Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and EHR documentation
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms
- Conduct patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Coordinate patient education materials
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Texas state MA license (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Meditech preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
